STUDIES THAT LED TO HARVARD
Born in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Teanoosh Zadeh first spent his youth in England before emigrating with his parents to Quebec. He earned his college diploma from St. Lawrence Champlain Regional College in Quebec City.
He then completed his doctoral studies in medicine at Laval University in Quebec City. At age 21, he became a physician. Subsequently, Dr. Zadeh completed residency in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery at McGill University.
A distinguished student, in 1995, he did a fellowship in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. In 1996, he continued his training as a researcher at the Tissue Engineering Laboratory at the prestigious Harvard University.
A PROFESSIONAL DEDICATED TO TRAINING
Certified with more than 22 years of experience, since 1996, Dr. Zadeh has divided his time between his private clinic in Westmount Square and the MUHC as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. Each year, newly graduated plastic surgeons from around the world are trained through the expertise of Dr. Zadeh’s and his colleagues.

Throughout his career his many surgical achievements and innovative work have garnered him extensive press coverage. He is continuing his research activities as a professor at the MUHC.
