For more curves and femininity …
PROPORTIONALLY TOO SMALL BREASTS, WEIGHT LOSS, PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING ARE THE MOST COMMON REASONS TO CONSIDER A BREAST AUGMENTATION.
Understanding breast augmentation
Breast augmentation is cosmetic plastic surgery that corrects asymmetry whenever necessary and increases the volume of your breasts while restructuring them if they have lost their shape.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Dr. Zadeh recommends breast augmentation for those who find their breasts are too small, causing discomfort. For many women, such surgery will give them a boost of self-confidence and help them feel more feminine. Breasts that are proportionally too small (breast hypotrophy), weight loss , pregnancy or breastfeeding (breast involution) are the most common reasons to consider this surgery.
THE PROCEDURE
Breast augmentation involves inserting a silicone gel or saline prosthesis and ensuring that it is well concealed by tissue to give a natural effect. The prosthesis is inserted under the skin of the breast through an incision in the chest fold (the area where the breast joins the chest wall) or through an incision near the armpit. In all cases, the scars diminish with time. The technique used by Dr. Zadeh, known as the “no touch technique” greatly reduces the risk of infection and capsular contracture. Each case is different and options available will be discussed during the initial consultation with Dr. Zadeh.
