Capturing a youthful appearance …

FACE LIFT SURGERY IS FACIAL REJUVENATION AS IT REMODELS THE DEEP AND SUPERFICIAL STRUCTURES.

What is a face lift?

A face lift of the face and neck provides a younger look to those whose face and neck are starting to sag. The goal is to treat sagging skin and muscles of the face and neck.

The procedure involves making incisions along the natural lines around the ear, under the hair and sometimes at the chin. These incisions remove fat and excess skin, and strengthen the neck and facial muscles. This operation can be completed with an eyebrow lift or blepharoplasty.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Several facial surgeries are available. The various procedures aim to reduce sagging of the skin and muscles. A facelift is done under general anaesthesia, either as day surgery or with an overnight stay in a private clinic, and lasts between one-and-a-half and 3 hours. In general, Dr. Zadeh does an entire facelift, but he can also target a specific areas such as the forehead, temples, cheekbones, and neck. The purpose of this operation is not to completely change the shape or appearance of the face, but to restore its original structure and achieve a natural result. The ideal candidate should have fairly elastic skin and adequate facial volume.

THE PROCEDURE

The face and the neck, as well as the muscles, must be separated. Dr. Zadeh makes small incisions to detach and remove excess skin.
