Understanding dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) occurs naturally in the body. It maintains the skin’s hydration by capturing water in the deep layers of the skin. HA is a molecule that acts like a sponge. Its plumping effect increases the skin’s volume and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. The effects however, are temporary and last for an average of 12 months.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Men and women who wish to fight the effects of aging without surgery. With age, the skin becomes dehydrated and thinner. It renews itself less and less as the skin relaxes over time. The results of the treatment vary from one person to another, depending on age, the areas treated, whether you are a smoker or not, and your degree of sun exposure.
Dr. Zadeh injects hyaluronic acid into the dermis a few millimeters deep. Depending on the areas to be treated, a session lasts between 10 and 30 minutes. The effects of hyaluronic acid are visible immediately after treatment and the final results are optimized 10 days after the injection.
